I’ve been wanting to write a review of Ken Envoy’s Site Build It! program for a very long time.  After all, this is how I got my start on the Internet and began seeing my first glimpses of success.  I truly believe that without SBI, I would have given up my dreams of building a profitable online business.  And since I have years of experience with this service… it only makes sense to give my honest review.

However…

Every time I sit at the computer to get it done I’m overwhelmed with things to say.  And I definitely don’t want this to be some “hyped up” review.  So, I normally put it off for later.

But since this month on Unfair Web Advantage I’m focusing on Internet Business Basics, I HAVE to review SBI.  If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be doing my job.  It is impossible for me to have a discussion of building a profitable Internet business without talking about SBI.

What are some complaints about SBI?

You can’t do anything for as long as Site Build It! (they’ve been around since 1997), and not get some complaints.  Here are 3 complaints I’ve seen more than once…

- SBI takes too long.  Yep, SBI is an online business building plan… not a “get rich quick” scheme.  And building a business, online or off, takes time.  But the truth is, if you want to be successful online, you must be willing to put in the time and effort.  That’s just life… so get used to it!
- SBI is only for beginners.  I agree, SBI is geared to helping beginners.  But, the process of building a successful online business is the same whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced online entrepreneur.  What really counts is RESULTS!
- SBI sites look too “basic”.  SBI helps beginners build a site with little to no experience.  And yes, the result is a “basic” website.  But the most important thing of any website is not how it looks, but how it works.  By that I mean, how well does it get traffic and make you money.  And these sites deliver.  PLUS, you can upload your own HTML sites if your want (like I do) and even attach a Wordpress blog if you want.  So, really there is a wide variety of things you can do with SBI and you’re definitely not limited to the “basic” website.

Who is SBI perfect for?

Look, there are a lot of ways to make money online.  Some of them are what I consider to be “tactics”.  But what I recommend for long-term success is building a REAL online business.

So, if you want to plan a successful business, build it in a way that has been proven to work and grow it over time… SBI is for you.

SBI is not a “get rich quick” scheme or hyped up money making tactic.  It is serious training and tools for people who want to build a serious business. 

So, ask yourself…

- Can I follow instructions?
- Can I dedicate myself to going through the steps needed for success?
- Can I consistently work on my business to ensure I succeed?
- Can I shut out the “noise” and focus on the SBI process?
- Do I want a REAL Internet Business that keeps growing and profiting well into the future?

If you answered “yes” to these questions… I’d give Site Build It some real consideration.

Who’s the wrong person for SBI?

Anyone who thinks they can be a huge success online without taking the time and putting in the effort to build a real business should pass on SBI.  If you’re sucked in by every “hyped up” ad that promises you’ll be a millionaire by the weekend with no effort… SBI is not for you.  (For that matter, I wouldn’t even try to make a living online at all.)

Ken is such a great guy, he has made the Action Guide available to SBI owners and non-owners alike.  So you can go through the exact 10 steps a person who buys SBI goes through.  And if you’re serious about building an online business, I would not skip a step!

When I first came into contact with SBI, I spent a lot of time on their website learning everything I could.  I even started going through the Action Guide thinking I would apply what I learned without actually purchasing SBI.

What I finally learned is the true value of Site Build It is not just the great information and solid foundation of the C-T-P-M process, but having all the tools to put the plan into action quickly and easily.  When I finally figured that out, I took the plunge and bought my first SBI site.

Some Conclusions…

If you can’t tell by what you’ve read so far… I’m a big fan of Site Build It!  I bought my first SBI site because I needed to build a profitable business online, but didn’t have a clue how.  And not only did I get all the tools I needed to build a high-traffic web site that works, but I got a proven plan to follow that guided me through each step of building my Internet Business.

And that is the true value of SBI.  It teaches you TIMELESS online business strategy, explains EVERGREEN tactics to grow your business and provides ALL the tools to put the plan into action.  These lessons and skills learned with SBI are the foundation for everything I do online… and the reason I make a full time income online today.

As time goes on, I add more to my online empire besides my SBI sites (autoresponders, blogs, mini sites, etc.), but I never forget the lessons learned from Ken Envoy or use any other platform for my Theme-Based-Content-Sites!
