This month on Unfair Web Advantage I’ve been talking mostly about beginner Internet marketers and getting your start on the Internet. So, it only makes sense to explain how I started making money online.
But I must clarify a little:
I have revealed in many places that Site Build It is responsible for my success online. And it’s true. The lessons I learned (and continue to learn at SBI), are what allow me to succeed.
And even though my Online Portfolio has much more than just SBI sites now (Authority Blogs, stand alone sales pages, separate autoresponder, etc.), I truly believe I would have never gotten this far without first dedicating myself to SBI and everything they teach.
However, I feel I must explain my “true” start online. Let me explain…
Before joining SBI, I spent over 2 months trying to do everything myself. I spent money on hosting, website templates, Dreamweaver (which I had my wife learn), software and an untold amount of ebooks. And I worked really hard… but I didn’t get very far.
You could best describe my activities as putting out fires. I would try to move forward, but then a problem would arise. This was normally some problem I didn’t know how to fix. So I would spend my time (and sometimes spend money), to find the answer. Then, another fire (problem) would break out.
After a couple very frustrating months of this I decided to join SBI.
So, when I say I got my start online with Site Build It, what I really mean to say is…
Joining SBI Is When I STARTED Building A Real Internet Business And Making Money Online.
(I try to forget the months of wasted time and money)
