Internet Marketing Woes: We’ve All Got To Start Somewhere

Sometimes when I’m participating in forums, commenting on blogs or searching websites for info, I get the impression some people think it is “too late” to become a successful internet marketer. And when I say “Internet Marketer”, I mean ANYONE who tries to make money online. I don’t mean the IMP’s (Internet Marketing Pimps) who fill up your inbox with worthless offer after offer.
I say: “Hogwash”.
First of all, most of these comments come from people who have spent a couple minutes online following some “get-rich-quick” gimmick. When they don’t make their first million overnight, they conclude all the reports of success and life-changing paychecks must be lies. (Some probably are, but definitely not all!)
But while I believe making money online can be simple, no-one said it was going to be easy. And as someone who has spent years online, I can tell you it takes a lot more dedication and sacrifice than “a few minutes on the weekend” to make a living on the Internet.
And why shouldn’t it?
You want a fancy car, big house and leisurely vacations on exotic islands, right? Don’t you want to be your own boss, answer to no-one and watch the cash roll in? This is, after all, why most of use decide to do business online.
In the “real” world, you’d have to spend a fortune on college and graduate school to even have the hopes of such a lifestyle. And even if you take that route, most people don’t even come close to the millionaire lifestyle these new Internet Marketers think they’re entitled to.
So, here’s the good news:
It’s really two pieces of good news!
First, with so many “Internet Marketers” out there only willing to put in the bare minimum of effort, and dropping out when they are not driving a new BMW by week’s end, there is still a lot of room for the people willing to put in the effort. I’d rather compete with a bunch of wimps that give up after a half hour of mediocre effort, wouldn’t you?
Second, no-one was born a high paid Internet Marketer. It is something you have to learn and then apply. So, even the millionaire “gurus” were where you are now at one point. And if they can do it, so can you!
Internet marketing is just like any other skill you want to learn. It is a process. And actually, there are 4 stages to the process.
Read this article where I explain the 4 Stages Of Internet Marketing Success
Which stage are you in? How can you go from one stage to the next as quickly as possible? Stay tuned to Unfair Web Advantage to find out!
If you haven’t already signed up for updates, do so now at the top right of the page. And be sure to read the free report I send you, “7 Things I Wish I’d Known Before I Started My Internet Business”.
You don’t want to make the same mistakes, do you?
It’s not “too late” to make a living online. As a matter of fact, I think it is a better time to get started than when I first began years ago. So, don’t listen to the people who believe making a full time income online is a thing of the past. Prove them wrong!
To Your Wealth,
