First of all, I want to say that I am not technically gifted in any way. As a matter of fact, all the “technical” stuff I need to do to run my online business I pass over to my wife. This is what got me in trouble, but I’ll talk more about that later.

This meant hours in front of the computer, learning code and experimenting with a lot of trial and error. And that was just to get ONE of the little things I wanted on the site.
Just image how many little details there are on a web page (breadcrumbs, photos, forms, video, audio, payment links, Google ads, RSS feeds, popups, advertising, etc), and you can guess what a headache this was for her.
And while I’m very proud of her for learning a lot of this stuff, she made it clear to me that she would have rather used a quick and easy software program like XSitePro!
Hey, my defense is XSitePro wasn’t around when we got started. But now that it is, you’d be crazy to learn all this stuff on your own instead of using this website building software.

Unless you are building websites for a living, you are not getting paid on your website building abilities. Most of us only have the ability to make money once the website is up and running. At least that is how it is for me.
