If I Had To Start My Online Business Over Again

Exploring Internet Business Basics on UnfairWebAdvantage.com has made me realize how much I’ve learned since I first started my online business. Looking back, I’m not sure I knew what I was getting into.
And maybe that’s why I succeeded!
You see, when you decide to start an Internet Business, it can feel overwhelming. But don’t worry, by the end of this post I’m going to share with you how to make your inauguration into “making money online” step-by-step simple.
But first, let me tell you about one of my biggest problems…
I overcomplicate things!
As you’ll see by the end of the page, making money online isn’t all that hard… unless you make it hard. And sometimes I tend to make things harder than they have to be.
Now, in my defense, I’d like to say that Internet marketers played a hand in complicating things. They can be so convincing! And at each step of the journey they would convince me I NEEDED whatever it was they were selling and I HAD to use their tactics if I was to make a penny.
And then I would get hopelessly distracted trying to put everything together. And as a result, I got nothing done. To keep from getting depressed, I’m not going to calculate how much time and money I wasted.
Back to the point…
Over the past month or so I’ve been writing and providing information about Internet Business Basics so people just starting out can avoid the problems I faced. I looked back over years of successes and failures to tried to provide the information that allows you to go from ZERO to PROFIT as fast as possible.
And the big question that keeps coming up in my mind is…
“Knowing what I know now… what would I do if I had to start my online business over again?”
The answer is not as easy to uncover as you might think. I’ve learned so much. I’ve used so many strategies, tactics and tools. I’ve overcome so many obstacles. To narrow it down took some real thought.
So here are the two factors I used to decide…
- It Has To Be Step-By-Step.
Looking back, there were a lot of times that I got frustrated. Whenever I ran into a problem, everything stopped until I found the solution. And each second my business was not moving forward felt like an eternity.
So, a way to make money online that is all-inclusive and with step-by-step instructions is a must.
- It Has To Earn Money Fast.
One of the hardest things to do is to work day after day… without making a penny. You basically are working on faith that what you are doing will eventually lead to money in your pocket. And the longer you have to wait, the greater your chances of giving up or getting distracted.
So, whatever I started would have to be the shortest path to profits.
Of all the different ways to make money online, the easiest and most profitable is selling something. That might shock some of you. But really, this is where most of my online income comes from.
There are really only a couple things you need to do…
- Market research… to make sure your topic and product are profitable.
- Product Creation… you need something to sell, whether your own original work or something you buy RIGHTS to.
- Website & Sales Copy… you need a website to sell from and copy that “SELLS” your product.
- Payment Processor… a way to receive payment.
- Traffic… to expose your product to people who want and need it.
That’s it. Like I said, don’t overcomplicate things. Forget about all the advanced tactics you’ve heard about. You don’t need them in the beginning.
All you need is people who want and need something, a product to sell them, a place to sell it from, a way to collect payment and a way to bring buyers together with your offer. That’s it!
And when someone buys… the money goes into your pocket!
Now, if this still feels too overwhelming… you’re in luck.

Focus And Internet Marketing: Sometimes Success Is Not Sexy

If you are trying to make money online in any fashion, you are an Internet Marketer. And if you are an Internet Marketer… you NEED to stay focused to succeed. ”Staying focused” might not be very sexy, but it is THE key to online business success!
If you are an Internet Marketer, you are either in two groups:
- You have either made NO money (or very little) and want to know how to make money online
- Or, you currently make money online and want to make MORE!
So, you go online searching for the product, tip, trick or tool that will take you from your current earning level to the next.
But here is the truth:
You probably ALREADY know how to make money online or know how to dramatically increase your earnings. Yes, right now you ALREADY know what to do. The reason you are stuck in your current position is because you haven’t DONE what you know you need to do!
So…
Looking for tactics, learning new methods and spending money on new programs and software is a BIG waste of time and money. Not spending your time and money doing what you know you ALREADY need to be doing to earn more online is crippling your business!
Now, I’m not saying you should NEVER buy products or use services to improve your online business. You should when it is NECESSARY, THE RIGHT TIME and you can AFFORD it! I’m just suggesting you should take stock in what you already know and the tools you already have and ask yourself this question:
Am I Doing What I Know And
Using What I ALREADY Have To Maximum Benefit?
If you are like most Internet Marketers I know (myself included), the answer to this question is a big fat NO!
